SUCCEED WHEN APPLYING FOR A JOB

Tips For Job Application

Your Skills

The thing that matters most to anyone looking for a job is your ability. In which areas do you have skills, what are you good at, and what your experience is with those skills. So tell about your skills also in your CV honestly, accurately and in detail.

What is a good CV like?

A good CV (curriculum vitae) is a document no longer than two pages, which summarizes the information about the job seeker that is relevant to the job search. The CV must contain information about the job seeker's education, work experience, IT and language skills and other skills relevant to performance at work. In addition to these, the CV may contain a short, one-paragraph summary of the job seeker, but it is best to add more detailed information about yourself as a job seeker to a separate application form when applying for a job.

What does a well-written Application Form look like?

A good job application (application letter) is a document less than a page long that summarizes why the employer should choose you for the job you are applying for. The purpose of the job application is to support and supplement the information provided in the CV, but not to repeat it. In the job application, you tell how your previous work experience and your strengths support you in the job you are applying for. In addition to this, the job application summarizes your motivation specifically for the job in question. Your job application tells about the job seeker as a person and an employee, unlike a CV.

Job Interview

Succeeding in a job interview requires versatile preparation. The job seeker must get to know the company and their business as well as the role they are applying for. The job seeker must be ready to answer questions about his own suitability and justify why he should be chosen from among all applicants. However, a job interview is not a one-sided questioning, but an opportunity to get to know both sides. If the recruiter tests the job seeker's suitability for the position, the job seeker finds out whether the company in question is the right employer for him.
